For my new A guy called Billy Identity I fortunately had the honor to receive some help of none-other than one of the script-font greats Joe-Bob. Joe-Bob our Rock ‘N’ Roll Creatives partner was pointed out by Larabie himself as one of the better script-font designers, and I totally agree. Joe-Bob laid the foundation for my new ‘A guy called Billy’ logo, it’s based on his writing. With the logo ready it became more easy. Happy with the logo as I was, I decided to keep the rest as clean and simple as I possibly could. Let my work speak for itself and not have that clouded by over-design of my own identity. That’s why the typography is done in Helvetica and all is black on white and white on black, not even shades of grey. The grey’s are optical created by diagonal striping.
